Catalogues of radiators
Radiator cataloques for the InstalSystem package include radiators of various types and purposes, as well as elements of integrated radiator fittings. During calculations, radiators can be selected by the program on the basis of required power and working parameters of the installation (according to information contained in: Radiator sizing) or selected manually by the User. As a final result, radiators are included in automatically generated bills of materials. The InstalSystem package includes a neutral catalog with typical radiator and radiator fitting constructions and extended library of company catalogues (check the list: Partners offering company versions of programs and catalogues).
The range of product types that can be included in the catalogue
Various types of integrated (with built-in valve insert) and non-integrated radiators:
- Plate,
- Convector (free-standing and ducted, with natural and forced convection),
- Tubular (finned and unribbed),
- Sectional,
- Bathroom,
- Bathroom tubular,
- Decorative, including large area (heating walls).
Along with radiators, it is possible to include in the program’s cataloques radiator fittings, for example, radiator inserts, connection suits, thermostatic heads. For more information about the fittings that can be included in the cataloques: Valves and fittings cataloques (basic).
The range of data used
- Products’ names and catalog codes,
- Products’ pictures and short notice “About the company” information,
- Technical data:
- Dimensions,
- Radiator volume,
- Max. operating temperature and max. operating pressure,
- Radiator’s output [W] for particular temperature ranges,
- ‘n’ coefficient for calculation radiator’s output to different temperature range,
- Pressure loss for radiator,
- Diameters and types of connection threads,
- Available types of radiator connections (side, wall side, floor side),
- For integrated radiators information about build-in valve inserts,
- For integrated radiators information on whether it is allowed to rotate them.
A detailed list of mandatory or optional data for entering your products into InstalSystem software will be provided by our catalogue engineers.
InstalSystem 5 modules using catalogues
The module enables:
- Editing in the project (inserting and data edition)
- Sizing
- Hydraulic calculations
- Listing in a bill of materials of convective radiators – from catalogs (neutral or company) or not from catalogs, as well as fittings integrated with them (‘subordinate elements’)
The entire installation is calculated in accordance with the ‘Heating systems’ module (two-pipe installations only).
Module uses installation data and (not obligatorily) building structure, entered graphically in a specialized editor, and in cooperating modules.
