Base module

  • Smarter 2D drawing - ACL, AUTO and ORTO:
    • New Auto Construction Lines (ACL*) mechanism facilitating precise routing of elements relative to existing geometry (hold the left mouse button while drawing). Thanks to the cooperation of modes AUTO / new mode AUTO ALL (tilde) / ORTO, snapping is more predictable, smoother, and visually clearer (new AUTO markers). Possibility to keep or quickly clear auxiliary lines during work in the modes settings window [screen]

 

*Further development of ACL with additional functions improving the ergonomics of this mechanism will be continued as part of release 31.0

  • New DXF/DWG export option (since 30.0.RC) for problematic fonts, enabling text export in a way that may prevent export errors related to unsupported fonts [screen]
  • Ability to select or deselect all sheets at once in the DXF/DWG file export window [screen]
  • Information about the version and possible dependencies of a given catalogue is available in the catalogue list [screen]

 

Building structure

  • Automatic roofs and slabs also for curved walls. New functions Roof (auto), Slab (auto) and Refresh roof/slab (auto) in the Construction gallery allow quick generation or update of geometry based on the outline of selected walls. The solution also supports outlines based on curved walls, reducing the need for manual editing of roof and slab geometry
  • Net volume area (3D) - Full building structure only. A button enabling quick activation of 3D visualization of rooms’ net volume, facilitating control of model geometry and spatial verification when floor thickness and suspended ceiling thickness are defined [screen]

IFC (BIM) import basis / IFC (BIM) building data interpretation

  • Export of IFC model elements to DXF/DWG and DXF/DWG 3D. Ability to export visible IFC model elements to DXF/DWG and DXF/DWG 3D files. The option is available in the export window, in the section Elements layers - Graphics/Underlays - IFC object  [screen]

  • In the configuration of pipe-run label result fields, the distance from the floor value is available
  • Pipe-runs not located within rooms are assigned by default the insulation selection placement External and an appropriate message is generated
  • Selecting pipe-runs from an area does not select their nodes, which allows displaying a data table common for the selected pipe-runs
  • Extension of the functionality of the Endpoint element:
    • Ability to insert one Endpoint for multiple pairs of pipe-runs
    • Depending on the settings in the Create schematic view beyond the endpoint field: possibility to end the unfolding at the Endpoint location or continue it towards receivers
    • Linking the element with a selected Starting point, thanks to which the unfolding generation operation takes it into account only for the indicated starting points
    • Automatic identification of the building unit for installation branches located behind the Endpoint, which is transferred to installation fragments in the unfolding and can be presented in their label. If unambiguous identification of the unit is not possible, appropriate diagnostics are displayed

  • Possibility to calculate the building’s design heat load according to the EN 12831-1:2017 standard
  • Improvement of partition definition creation in H&E. In the Project browser window, a green plus has been added next to each partition type, allowing immediate creation of a definition in the appropriate type. Additionally, on the ribbon, in the H&E editing scope, a new button Add partition definition has been introduced, accelerating the creation of definitions of a selected type [screen]

Domestic wastewater gravity systems

  • In the general project data, in the Fixtures table, a column has been added allowing selection of a custom default discharge type
  • In some manufacturer catalogues, the element Special Inlet Fitting has been introduced, allowing increased capacity of sewage stacks in high-rise buildings without the need to add a bypass ventilation stack [screen].   • Selection of eccentric reducer fittings [screen]
  • Selecting a stack that has an additional stack (pressure equalization loop) causes a local coordinate system to be displayed on the plan, which facilitates understanding of the meaning of Dx, Dy offsets appearing in the data table for the additional stack [screen]
